Yo-yoing has always been a very personal hobby of mine. I never planned on advertising or promoting myself very much outside of attending yo-yo competitions because for me, yo-yoing is a creative outlet that I take part in purely for the joy that I get out of it. Ironically enough, over the years my yo-yoing has caught the attention of people/companies who have sponsored me, sent me around the world, put me on nationwide television, and allowed me the opportunity to share my love of this hobby by performing in front of crowds around the globe. The experience has been amazing and I have learned a very big lesson in the amount of success that a person can have by simply finding something that they are truly passionate about and focusing on it, even if only for the reason that they just love doing it.
The below video, shot by Hironori Mii from Yo-Yo Store REWIND of Japan, is a short and simple compilation of some of my older and more favorite tricks. Enjoy!
Borys Radziszewski officially joined the YoYoFactory Team last year at the European Yo-Yo Championships, and we couldn’t be happier to have him. He’s incredibly skilled, just check out that first combo he does, and he work hard alongside YoYoFactory Poland to teach others. This past weekend, YoYoFactory Poland held a Yo-Yo League Contest and Borys came in 1st! Good job! We can’t wait to see how he does at EYYC this year.
There’s no denying it, we love Shaqler! From the Shaqler Loop 900s we did to the recent Shaqlerstar in Champions Collection. All the way to the Shaqler town we have hanging in the Creative Department. Recently at the huge Hyper Yo-Yo event Shaqler did a guest performance. Their “Keep YO Soul” remix is to sick!
No matter how big a logo is or how flashy we act sometimes Yo-Yo isn’t a huge industry. As a brand, we were started BY PLAYERS making yoyos largely FOR PLAYERS, be the beginners or experts. As we grow we have always tried to grow with players, supporting them as much as possible and integrating them into our business. Our USA office is full of yoyo players (currently 5 regional and 2 National Champions on payroll) and we are proud to announce our European office is also now fronted by a player. Starting April 1st YoYoFactory Europe business will be taken over by Kojo Boison, 2x and Current German National Champion. We wish him great success in his new position helping grow yoyo across Europe!
YoYoFactory has a history that goes back almost as far as modern yoyoing in Russia. In 2007 we sent the first international Pros into Russia for more than a decade. We have watched, and supported the growth of one of the youngest and most active YoYo scenes on the planet. YoYo in Russia is no longer a new novelty, it is a real sport. This is our Team.
The Severe is quickly becoming a standout model of Champions Collection. And Michał Zakrzewski is quickly becoming the new standout player of Europe! Michał puts the Severe through it’s paces with amazing control and style. We love this video, and you will too…
Patrick Borgerding has always been a talented, driven young man. So it came as no surprise to us when he finally captured his first US National title in 3A. Hot on the heals if his win is this phenomenal video part! Enjoy!
We are always yo-yoing. Whenever. Wherever we have a chance. This weekend after the East Japan Yo-Yo Contest we were waiting for a Ramen shop to open up, and decided to shoot a video. Featuring multiple time World and National John Ando playing with the new Champions Collection Proton.
